I don't stay at this class of hotels very often, but this one really is OK and tries to compete with the larger hotel chains. And for the area of Piketon, OH, this place is great! The hotel is pretty basic but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. If you request a room on the back side of the hotel (away from the train tracks), the rooms are relatively quiet. The front desk staff are quite friendly and helpful. The free breakfast lacks the variety that larger chains offer, but there are good quality options. I'm happy to stay here when I'm in this area.
Fairly decent hotel. A few places to eat lunch and dinner at. Somehow, this place had some top notch coffee.
Probably the best in the area, but that isn't saying much. "Breakfast" was supposed to start at 6. At 6:30, not even coffee downstairs. One of the locks on the outside doors doesn't work, and won't let you in. It's a comfort in, so I guess I can't expect much.
Edit: There is a train that runs RIGHT NEXT TO the hotel. Unless you are a heavy sleeper, prepare for the train horn to wake you up at some point.
Surprisingly, my stay was great. It was not expected and they had the added amenities I needed so saved me a trip to find a store. Very clean, nothing felt outdated or worn out. Breakfast was full and tasty. Will definitely stay again if the need arises.
Clean, very large room. Microwave, double sink, fridge with freezer. Two TV's. Awesome breakfast. Nice lounge by the pool, with picnic tables. Great price. I work out of town every week and this hotel is one of the best I've stayed at.
